EFCC Chairman Urges Nigerians to Unite Against Corruption

In a goodwill message to Muslims commemorating Eid-el-Fitr, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman Ola Olukoyede expressed optimism that Nigerians can overcome corrupt practices by strengthening their resolve and determination.
According to Olukoyede, tackling economic and financial crimes requires courageous readiness and corporate commitments from Nigerians. He emphasized that Nigerians are stronger than corruption and that no corrupt act can break their common resolve and determination.
Olukoyede congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan and urged them to internalize the lessons of self-denial, discipline, sacrifice, love, and purity. He encouraged them to channel these values into a renewed commitment to shun corrupt practices.
The EFCC chairman also assured Nigerians that the anti-corruption war is on course, with the commission gaining strength and speed in combating economic and financial crimes.
