Senator Sadiq Umar Facilitates Free Medical Outreach Across Moro LGA

Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, who represents Kwara North Senatorial District, is facilitating a free medical outreach across Moro Local Government Area.

The outreach, which will run from Thursday, 14th to Friday, 15th August 2025, is powered by the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Budo-Egba, and will take place at three centres: Cottage Hospital, Shao; Model Primary Health Centre, Jebba; and Primary Health Centre, Bode Sadu.

The programme will offer free medical consultations, drug distribution, basic health checkups, and treatment for a variety of ailments including malaria, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, typhoid, peptic ulcer, skin infections, respiratory tract infections, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, eye infections, allergies, sprains, flu, diarrhea, malnutrition, septicemia, among others.

Senator Umar described the initiative as part of his commitment to complement the healthcare efforts of Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq by bringing quality healthcare closer to the people and restoring hope in underserved communities.

He urged residents to take advantage of the opportunity, noting that “good health should never be a luxury.”

Residents of Moro LGA are encouraged to spread the word and ensure that family and friends benefit from the life-changing services on offer.
