PDP New Generation Urges Support For Atiku

A group, PDP New Generation has called on all patriotic Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion to rally round the candidature of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to become the president to rescue Nigeria from the present state of stagnation.
In a statement issued by the coordinator of the group, Agboola Olateju at the rally held in five local governments of Kwara South Senatorial district, urged Nigerians to consider the need to enthrone competence over “narrow and parochial interest in their choice of a new leader for the country and also added that what the country needs at this time is a mentally and physically fit leader to steer it away from its current path of underdevelopment.
The rally which started from Obbo-Ile, Ekiti LG and went across Oke-Ero, Irepodun and Isin Local Government then ended up in Omupo Community Ifelodun Local Government and The group sensitized people how the new technology just brought by INEC called BVAS works and to improve electioneering process in order to stop election riggings and malpractice while the electorates are exercising their right. They also told their audiences that voting PDP Presidential,Senate,Federal House of Representatives, Gubernatorial and State house of Assembly is very sacrosanct to move this country forwards.
The PDP New Generation, a political organisation, has expressed confidence in the ability of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar to transform Nigeria, if elected in the forthcoming presidential election.




The National Director of Campaign, Comrade Adio Friday Odunjo, made the statement at a rally to affirm Atiku and Okowa’s presidential ticket, on Wednesday in Kwara.
Odunjo said that the organisation had after the assessment of all the variables in respect of the election decided to pitch its tent with the PDP and by extension the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
He said that the PDP had done well in their 16 years, adding that despite all its failings, the party managed to stabilise the country and increased the Gross Domestic Products (GDP) by more than 20 per cent during its tenure.
The Women Leader, Alhaji Bashirat Diaomond, also said: ” We have carefully studied the three political parties that are the front runners namely APC, PDP, and the Labour Party.
She also said that: “We have taken time to go through the records of our presidential candidates and assess them based on the following four criteria.
National spread and acceptance, political experience and will, the political manifesto of each party, leadership qualities and charisma and ethical standing.
based on the assessment of the group, Atiku was the only presidential candidate who has what it takes to pull Nigeria out of the doldrums”.
