Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Director-General of Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), has extended Easter greetings to Christians, wishing them a joyous celebration. Tegbe encouraged Christians to embody the virtues of selfless sacrifice, humility, perseverance, and compassion during this festive period.
In his message, Tegbe highlighted the significance of meaningful partnerships, such as the one between Nigeria and China, which are built on mutual respect, shared goals, and a commitment to progress. He emphasized that such partnerships have the potential for mutual benefit through strategic investments.
The NCSP aims to drive Nigeria’s socio-economic transformation through targeted Chinese investments, aligning with Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda and China’s Belt and Road Initiative. The partnership seeks to promote economic diversification and growth through inter-ministerial collaboration, benefiting all Nigerians.
Recently, the Federal Government convened an inter-ministerial meeting to strengthen the implementation of agreements reached during the 2024 FOCAC Summit. The meeting emphasized the need to convert memoranda of understanding into actionable projects that benefit all Nigerians.
Tegbe’s Easter message serves as a reminder of the importance of peace, harmony, and collaboration in achieving progress and prosperity for all.
