Excitement across the length and breadth of Kwara State as the management of Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWASUTH) unveiled its logo and began the installation of signboards, signalling the Teaching Hospital’s imminent take-off.

This is coming less than two months after Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq signed a law establishing the university teaching hospital to ensure state University like its counterparts in other states produces exceptional medical doctors and professionals and also contributes to human capital development.

The KWASUTH establishment law, 2024, which was signed on May 30, 2024, drew commendations for Governor AbdulRazaq within and outside the state as many described it as a new dawn for Kwara given that it had been a longtime dream of a university teaching hospital.

The reactions that have been following the unveiling of the logo so far show that Kwarans can’t wait for the university teaching hospital to begin full operations.
