Mallam Agbelere Celebrates Hon. Dr. Olododo’s Turbaning as Gaskiya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate

The Executive Chairman of Ilorin East Local Government, Mallam Garba Olayinka Lukman Agbelere, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Dr. Abdulganiy Saka Cook Olododo on his recent appointment and turbaning as the Gaskiya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Mai Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR.

According to the his Press Secretary, Bawa Haruna Ibrahim, Describing the honour as well-deserved, Mallam Agbelere noted that the traditional title is a reward for Dr. Olododo’s unwavering dedication, integrity, and meritorious service to the people of Ilorin East, the Ilorin Emirate, and Kwara State as a whole.

“Dr. Olododo’s long-standing contributions to governance and development at both the local and national levels are commendable,” the Chairman said. “As a former Executive Chairman of Ilorin East Local Government, Commissioner, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Secretary to the State Government, and member of the 9th National Assembly, his record is marked by transparency, compassion, and honest service.”

Mallam Agbelere further applauded Dr. Olododo for his commitment to the growth and well-being of Kwara State, particularly Ilorin East. He prayed that the new title would usher in greater honour, joy, and fulfillment in his life and career.

The Chairman also conveyed the appreciation of the people of Ilorin East to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, for bestowing the revered title on one of their own. He wished the Emir a peaceful and prosperous reign in sound health.
