****Says we remain loyal to AA but we shall not tolerate any degree of Imposition.

The Magaji Ngeri Ward under the aegis of the All Progressives Congress has today plead to the governor and Prince Sunday Fagbemi not to choose and imposing anyone to occupy any political post over them in the upcoming Primaries. This was concluded during the weekly meeting with the Magaji Ngeri Ward APC members in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

During a meeting held today at the ward Secretariat, the members agitated that everyone is opened to a free and fair primary and thus there should be no imposition of any sort no matter the individual status at the federal or state level.

The chairman of the ward, Mallam Muritala Olaitan Kokori said that there are rumours in circulation already following that some aspirants are being given automatic ticket to run for some specific post both at the state and federal level which he described as inappropriate.

“” We are core believers and supporters of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq but we plead to him to ensure a level playing ground for all the aspirants, as some aspirants have been name-dropping that they are the anointed or preferred choice of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State at the forthcoming primaries.”

“We believe that the Governor is the leader of the party and the father of all, as a father he should not take side among his children, rather, he should bless the most popular choice of his children. It is by so doing, that internal democracy within the party will be further strengthened. “, he added.

The meeting came to an end with chants of solidarity towards the second term in office bid of the Governor.
