Kwara State Poultry Industry Issues SOS to Government over Emerging Threats, Call for Press Conference

The event will be held at the association’s secretariat opposite GSS Maraba Ilorin on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, at 11 am. The title of the conference is “Emerging Threats to the Poultry Industry: A Necessary SOS to the Government of Kwara State.”
According to the chairman of the PAN Kwara state chapter, Ojo Akinwumi Richard, the poultry industry is currently facing troubling times and urgently needs the intervention of the government of Kwara state to help mop up eggs and other poultry products. Richard stated that there are up to one million crates of eggs that could spoil if urgent steps are not taken. As a major contributor to the economy of Kwara state, the association is calling on individuals, corporate bodies, banks, and other stakeholders to attend the conference.
The Poultry Association of Nigeria is a crucial player in Kwara state’s economy, and the government’s intervention is necessary to prevent further losses.
