Kwara Governor Celebrates BUA Chief Abdul Samad Rabiu at 64

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), has extended heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu (CFR), the founder and chairman of BUA Group, on his 64th birthday. Governor AbdulRazaq expressed deep appreciation for Rabiu’s significant investments and enduring friendship, which have profoundly benefited the state.
Highlighting Rabiu’s philanthropy, the Governor recalled his substantial contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic and his ongoing support in constructing a N2.5 billion oncology center in Ilorin. These acts of generosity have left an indelible mark on the state’s healthcare landscape.
Particularly noteworthy is BUA Group’s commitment to the Federal Government’s tax initiative, which has facilitated the construction of nearly 300 kilometers of solid roads across Kwara State. Major projects under this initiative include the Bode Saadu/Kaiama/Kosubosu road, Lafiagi-Bacita road, Okuta-Bukuro road, and Eiyenkorin-Offa-Odo Otin road. These infrastructural developments are pivotal in enhancing connectivity and boosting economic growth in the region.
Governor AbdulRazaq acknowledged Rabiu’s unwavering support and highlighted the critical role of his investments in fostering development. “The administration and the people of Kwara State owe the businessman a debt of gratitude for his friendship and philanthropy,” the Governor stated.
