The Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor of Kwara State, Olayinka Fafoluyi, will be honoured with the traditional title of Akeweje of Aran-Orin on June 9, 2025, by the town’s monarch, Oba Joseph Oyeyipo Babalola.
Known for his passion for community development, Fafoluyi will mark the day with the commissioning of key projects in his hometown, including a borehole, 32 solar-powered streetlights, and a groundbreaking for the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Corpers’ Lodge—a project that aims to uplift educational and social infrastructure.
The installation ceremony will be held at the Primary School, Aran-Orin, and will mark a dual celebration of tradition and transformation, as the event will also witness the commissioning of several impactful community projects spearheaded by Fafoluyi.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Fafoluyi expressed deep gratitude and humility, acknowledging the instrumental role played by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, in his personal and professional journey.
“I am deeply humbled. These projects reflect a shared dream for a better Aran-Orin, made possible by the steadfast support of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” Fafoluyi said.
The forthcoming events underscore Fafoluyi’s commitment to grassroots development, civic responsibility, and the upliftment of rural communities through sustainable infrastructure.
