Ilorin East LG Boosts Power Supply with Installation of Two New Transformers

In a bold move to tackle power challenges and improve infrastructure within Ilorin East Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman, Mallam Garba Olayinka Lukman Agbelere, has procured two new electricity transformers for selected communities.
According to a statement by Bawa Haruna Ibrahim, the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, the intervention includes a 300KVA transformer designated for Orisunmibare Community in Mubo Phase 2, Magaji Aare Ward 2, and a 200KVA transformer for Adelu Community in Agbeyangi/Gbadamu/Osin Ward.
The initiative forms part of the administration’s broader commitment to improve living standards by ensuring steady power supply and encouraging socio-economic development in the area. With the installation of these transformers, residents are expected to enjoy more reliable electricity, fostering better business operations and daily life.
Chairman Agbelere urged residents of the beneficiary communities to support the government’s efforts by safeguarding the equipment and ensuring regular maintenance. He emphasized that community cooperation is vital for the sustainability of such developmental projects.
