Hon. Ladan Inaugurates Medical and Health Task Force Committee

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Shehu AbdulRahman Babatunde Ladan, has officially inaugurated the Medical and Health Task Force Committee.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the council secretariat, marked a strategic move by the local government to address pressing healthcare challenges and improve medical service delivery across communities under its jurisdiction.

The newly inaugurated committee comprises the following members:

1. Mallam Mustapha Ibrahim Babareke – Chairman

2. Mr. Ibrahim Muhammed Baba – Secretary

3. Alhaja Jos Tawakaltu

4. Mr. Sulyman Akeem

5. Mr. Giwa Idowu

6. Mr. Tunde G. Aliu

7. Mr. Suleiman Lagbe

Hon. Ladan, while speaking at the event, underscored the critical importance of accessible, responsible, and quality healthcare services for the people of Ilorin West. He urged the committee to approach their responsibilities with utmost transparency and professionalism, noting that their work aligns with his administration’s broader vision to enhance public health and general wellbeing.

“This committee has a vital role to play in ensuring our health facilities meet the expectations of the people. We are committed to leaving behind a legacy of strong healthcare structures, and this initiative is a key part of that journey,” the Chairman stated.
