CESVO: Hon. Halidu Danbaba Bags Award Of Credence.

The Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Kaiama, Kemanji and Wajibe state constituency, Hon Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba has been awarded a certificate of credence by Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation over an outstanding performance in his constituency.

Speaking at the award ceremony, the country director of the programme, Abuja, Ameh David Noah said that the lawmaker was awarded as a result of performance of his state legislative responsibilities capable of moving the area forward to the next level.

According to him, the House member was one of their top hundred (100) state lawmakers in the country who has met their leadership integrity test in ten (10) thematic focuses of the organization which involved; public accessibility, emotional intelligence, innovative/creative leadership, participation in the floor, committee attendance, bills and motions; ethical uprightness among others.

He noted that the organization’s objectives at all times was to applaud political officeholders, philanthropists, traditional institutions and members of the society who made them proud while putting public criminals on their toes for holding them down for decades in their quest to develop the state and nation in general.

David Noah gratified that they continuously hold leaders accountable for fifteen (15) years and would not dettere until the nation becomes ethically viable in all ramifications.

While appreciating their integrity icon for the incorruptible practices on the course of his primary responsibility, the Director programme charged him to continue.

In his congratulatory message, the Senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar congratulated the certificate awardee, Hon Abdullahi Haliru Danbaba for his well deserved award in contributing positively to repositioning his constituency for growth and development.

The Federal lawmaker satisfied that the legislator’s investments in basic infrastructural and human capital developments in the area hinged the organisers to bagged him the award.

The Senator, however hailed the organization for the excellent observation of his positive contributions towards his constituency, noting that the House of Assembly member would continue to discharge his primary responsibility at all times.

He tasked the citizens of the constituency to enhance support the change mantra of the present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari, Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State so as dividends of democracy would enhance spread to every nooks and crannies of people’s doorsteps.

On his part, the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, Hon (Arch) Aliyu Saifudeen Mohammed Congratulated the legislator for the befitting award by the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation, describing his award as another milestone to enhance develop the constituency.

He said that Danbaba has left no one in doubt that he was in office to work towards actualizing the wellbeing of the citizens of the area to the next level.

The Commissioner explained that the achievements of the House member since inception of his representation cannot be overemphasized. stressing that the citizens of the area were building a commendable relationship existing between them.

“I am glad that the hardworking lawmaker has proven his mettle that he is the son of the soil as he has been doing some remarkable projects, especially drilling of motorized and hand pump boreholes, electrification projects to some communities, training and retraining of youths into skill acquisition programmes among others.

Saifudeen also lauded other political officeholders in the area for their immeasurable support and all round contributions toward the success of the present administration and development of the council.

While calling on the citizens of the area to continue to support the change mantra of the All Progressives Congress (APC) not only in the state alone but the nation at large, the Commissioner tasked them to shun away divisive tendencies capable of truncating their laudable personalities, party and government in action.

Also speaking, the Clerk, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hajia Halimat Jumai Kperogi Congratulated the awardee, Hon Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba for his certificate award towards contributing immensely to the development of the his constituency.

According to her, the House of Assembly member has been performing gratefully both infrastructural and human capital developments, particularly in the provision of motorized and hand pump boreholes, electrification, renovation and reconstruction of schools among others,

The clerk also commended the management of Centre for Self Value and Orientation for its responsibility towards improving the wellbeing of the people of not only the state alone but the country as a whole.

She gratified that the award would go a long way to encourage other lawmakers to follow suit.

Jumai further praised the present administration in the state led by Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for the opportunity given to the legislator to embark on those projects, especially to uplift the standard of living of the people.

Responding, the awardee thanked the organization for the honor not only for himself alone but the entire family and the constituency as a whole.

“I dedicate this award to God Almighty who has brought us so far, and to the good people of the constituency for their trust and support.

“The present administration under the leadership of Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq fundamentally changed the narrative of the constituency and the council area in the last two years.

“I praised their undiluted understanding of the deeper and wider meanings of o toge change mantra. The much we have done in repositioning infrastructural development was made possible because the political class has offered to make sacrifices for a greater Kwara.

He stressed that the certificate award was a tonic for every representative to do more in his/her responsibility and they would deliver a lot more to make the constituency, the council area and the state better.

“I am grateful to the management of the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation for their honour, I would not take it for granted.
