Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has officially announced his retirement from Belgium’s national team at age 31 after the Red devil’s were knocked out of the FIFA world cup group stage.
Harzard made 126 appearances for Belgium scoring only 33 goals and 36 assists to his name.
Hazard, 31, joined Real Madrid in a high-profile move from Chelsea in 2019 for an initial €100 million, but has since then endured an injury-hit three years at the Bernabeu and has not been is his beast mode form as he was at Chelsea.
However Belgium could only defeat Canada by 1-0 after they lost 2-0 to Morocco and were held to a goalless draw by Croatia, it looks as thoughthe Red Devil’s may never get a performance to match their 2018 Fifa World cup campaign in Russia where they were the highest goal scorers of the tournament but lost 1-0 at the semi-final to France who happened to be the winners of the trophy
