Don’t Rest On Your Oars: Abolore Charges Stakeholders in The Education Sector on UN Int.Day of Education Celebration

Stakeholders at various levels in the Education Sector have been called upon not to rest on their oars at ensuring qualitative, efficient, and effective service delivery at all levels.

The Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Alabi Afees Abolore made the call while addressing Journalists in Ilorin, to commemorate the United Nations International Day of Education, with the theme: “To invest in People, Prioritize Education”.

Dr. Abolore who, reiterated the State Government’s policy thrust in promoting education, confirmed that the Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration has invested handsomely accross all levels of education sector in the State.

He posited that the present administration’s achievements in both basic and tertiary education are enormous saying that investments in those sectors are enormous and feasible across the length and breath of the State.

Dr. Abolore, therefore, commended the Governor for achieving these feats in the education sector as well as other sectors and appealled to indigenes and residents of the State to support his quest in continuing to bring the dividends of democracy beyond 2023 by coming out to ensure his reelection for another four year term.

He finally advised all relevant stakeholders in the education sector to prioritize education and to continue to develop and invest heavily in human capital for the much desired growth and development of our society just as it has been captured in this year’s UN International Day of Education.
