Alhaja Medinat’s Birthday: An Opportunity to Celebrate Loyalty, Leadership, and Philanthropy — Engr. Oba O.A,Cos Ilorin West

Happy birthday to the most amazing personality, a kind hearted sister, generous to all, humble, just, faithful, loyal and honest. A good example of an enterprising woman, self dependent, supportive and one who uplifts less privileges.

I’d like to take a moment to express my deepest admiration for her exceptional personality. She’s the epitome of calmness, coolness, and collectedness, always radiating positivity and warmth. Her friendly demeanor puts everyone at ease, making her a joy to be around.

As someone who know her a little due to her philanthropic contributions and gestures around, I’ve had the privilege of meeting her in person at a particular moments on APC matter not knowing she’s a complete Technocratic one who wishes solace for any members APC and who are in support of her godfather His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Sardaona Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON..

But  more importantly, I’ve witnessed her kindness and generosity firsthand. She’s not only helping people in camp of APC or loyalist of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq but also a  sponsor, generously sponsoring many less privileges i referred to her on their education, generously assisted some brothers who could not pay their School fees in recent times. Her investment in future  of people is a testament to her character. Many can testify to this but because she’s a silent helper to those who know her.

I still remember the day I shared the news of  admission of some people to her , who could not afford their School fee and others. She asked about the school fees, I sent full details of the persons who are not even politicians. The guys just sent receipts to me that they received certain amount from one Abdullateef Medinat which will cover the School fee of  their HND1 in Kwara State Polytechnic.  That gesture spoke volumes about her heart. I now asked her, Alhaja I am surprised, she said: “Oba, I have learned to give and help people not because I have too much, but I know how it feels to have nothing. And whatever we give out will be part of our deeds” and I said, Allahu Akbar.  Later, I shared story of one of my childhood friends who died and left 3children, i implored Alhaja Medinat to put one in nursery School, she accepted joyously. Allahu Akbar.

Beyond my personal experience with her, Alhaja Medinat’s silent impact on community development and constituents is profound. *Her  silent supports to those in need, often going& gone unnoticed by the public eye because she does not publicize anything but because I am an eyewitness of many, speak volumes about her character. From providing scholarships to underprivileged students to offering financial assistance to families in crisis, his philanthropic efforts have touched countless lives. If many can do so without holding any political positions or appointments.*

Alhaja Medinat birthday is a perfect opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for her mentorship, guidance, and support. I’m honored to her  and learn from his experiences. Here’s to many more years of inspiring and empowering others! Four decades of life, wisdom, and leadership – and still shining bright!
