Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s relentless efforts to fix the deplorable roads across the state’s three senatorial districts have earned him accolades from well-meaning Kwarans and admirers who describe him as an uncommon visionary leader and exemplary achiever.
The upgrading of Ibrahim Taiwo Road/Popo Road in Offa Local Government Area of the state is close to joining the long list of several roads Governor AbdulRazaq has upgraded and constructed under his administration’s widely accepted rural-urban renewal initiative, as it is 95 percent completed.
Completing the Ibrahim Taiwo Road/Popo Road will not only enhance road safety and improve vehicular movement but also boost the local economy, as traders from and outside the Offa Local Government Area can easily access the road for their daily trading activities.
His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq ‘s rural-urban renewal initiative has improved most of the critical infrastructure, including the major roads across the state, and delivered two solid flyovers, namely General Tunde Idiagbon Flyover (Tanke Area) and Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Flyover (Unity Roundabout).
